PJ Charteris出生于新西兰，但因为在澳大利亚猎人谷生活与工作了很多年，把那里当作了自己的家，并在过去的十多年里成为了具有传奇色彩的布肯林酒庄的酿酒师。

PJ拥有将“好的葡萄”变成“美味佳酿”的能力，他出色地将该地区独具特色的两大葡萄品种－口感柔和风味极佳的设拉子和复杂具有成年潜力的赛美蓉成功载入澳大利亚葡萄酒故事中。与许多酿酒师一样，PJ深知酿造高品质佳酿的真正秘诀存在于葡萄园，为此他花大量的时间在培育葡萄藤上。

THE WINEMAKER: PJ Charteris

PJ Charteris, although born in New Zealand, has made the Hunter Valley his home over years of experience in the region, culminating in the last decade as winemaker at the legendary Brokenwood. Intuitively able to turn ‘good grapes’ into ‘great wine’, PJ has excelled at taming the region’s two unique contributions to the Australian wine story – supple, savoury Shiraz, and complex, age-worthy Semillon. As with many winemakers, PJ knows that the true secret of great wines lies in the vineyard, and so still spend the majority of his time pruning and training the vines.

THE WINERY: Brokenwood, Hunter

Brokenwood has already proved to be the cradle of many great Australian winemakers, and holds a special place in Australian wine as a pioneer of the boutique winery movement. Starting out life as partnership project of the renowned James Halliday, the winery retains a reputation for being classic, but always with a subtle twist of innovation, and now exports to all major wine markets in the world. The winery excels across the range, particularly in capturing a number of different syles of Semillon, but undoubtedly has retained the formidable, single-vineyard Graveyard Shiraz as its masterpiece.

PJ的照片拍的很MAN，真人其实挺腼腆的，很可爱很帅！他家的赛美容是我迄今为止喝到的最纯净的一款酒，印象深刻！

这狗不错啊

这张照片的重点就在于这狗身上，大家都记住了狗，忘记了PJ。 PJ一共养了6条狗，下次让他来个狗个全家福。

在新西兰有一个酒庄，以GEWURZTRAMINER出名。后来有人就问，你们有什么诀窍么？庄主说，我们家有条狗，每到葡萄成熟的时候，都由这条狗来决定什么时候采葡萄
