The grapes grow on chalky-clay dominated terroir in the northern part of the Pfalz region, around the city of Kindenheim

The harvest is done by hand exclusively and is restricted to a yield of less than 50 hl/ha. Only juice of well-ripened and carefully selected grapes is fermented in stainless steel tanks in a temperature-controlled environment.
