嘉伯乐的代表之作，产自位于小教堂酒区丘陵顶处的圣克利斯多夫小教堂。其于1253年由一位幸存的十字军东征骑士隐居于此后建成，并开始在此处种植葡萄。

佐宝利1919年收购了圣克利斯多夫小教堂。

小教堂红被视作全世界最顶级的葡萄酒之一。其由设拉子酿造而成；所选用的葡萄藤平均年龄高达40岁。

小教堂所在的丘陵地理位置特殊，位坐东南，面朝南方。其葡萄园得以充分沐浴阳光，并不受冷风侵袭。当地土壤下层为花岗岩，上层覆盖片麻岩，同时还有鹅卵石地带。葡萄园在不同的几种土壤上生长，从而使其葡萄酒兼具复杂和细腻两种风格。

“1988年炎热夏日的几场降雨，使得当年的葡萄酒质醇厚，酒体饱满。这款酒依然年轻内敛，单宁坚韧耐嚼，充满矿物、铅笔以及铁的味道，其分层正如小教堂风格。”- 酒评家杂志点评，94分（1988年份）

This was a particularly successful year in the south, and Ch鈚eauneuf-du-P鈖e, Gigondas, and C魌es du Rh鬾e Villages were outstanding, and some wines will rival the magnificent 1998s in quality. The northern Rhone was not quite on the stellar level of 1999. The exception was Condrieu, which was better than in 1999. Very high yields will not have helped the overall quality in the north, but it seems clear that C魌e R魌ie, Hermitage, and Cornas produced many of the top wines

在南部是非常成功的一年尤其是教皇新堡,gigondas以及cote du rhone villages尤其出色.一些可以与1998年相媲美.北窿和1999年不在一个级别上除了Condrieu要比1999年来的要好.在北隆很高的产量对质量上没有帮助.但是在cote du rotie,Hermitage 以及cornas产了很多顶级酒

Best Appellations A benchmark vintage for Syrah in the Northern Rh鬾e. The best wines have a firm clear fruit core overlaid with smooth black fruit and peppery tannins. Hermitage and Cornas will be long-lived thanks to their balance and sound acidity.

In the Southern Rh鬾e, prestige Ch鈚eauneuf-du-Pape are very good to excellent, with focused fruit and perfect acidity. Tannins are rounded and there is enough matter to handle elevated alcohol levels (often 15%+). Gigondas sees clear-cut and persistent fruit, ripe tannins, and good ageing potential. Full and well-structured reds, too, from Vacqueyras and Lirac, while Vinsobres has delivered superb quality wines that prove just how well Syrah can perform here.

The best C魌es du Rh鬾e-Villages are excellent, especially from top domaines in Cairanne, Rasteau, Visan, Sablet and S間uret.

05年对于北窿的西拉来说可以做为最好的参照.优质的红酒有着清晰厚实的果味带有丝滑的黑色水果味道和香料味单宁.Hermitage和Cornas 可以长期保存由于起出色的平衡性和足够的酸味

喝过4个年份的，99,01,02,03。觉得这些年份中03是最值得收藏的。99，01的现在喝不错，再放就不行了。
