酿酒师介绍----香桐酒庄 莉莲 卡特

LILIAN CARTER
Growing up on a vineyard in the historic Victorian region of Rutherglen, Lilian was introduced to the delights of wine from a very young age. After completing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Oenology at the University of Adelaide in 2003, she began her career in the renowned Barossa Valley. Lilian travelled abroad, gaining vintage experience in world-class wine regions such as Marlborough, New Zealand. In 2008 she was appointed as winemaker in the Ningxia region of China, and after only one year, Lilian was awarded the “Wine of China” trophy for her 2008 Special Reserve Chardonnay at the Hong Kong International Wine Fair.

A keen hiker and aspiring canoeist, Lilian loves exploring different cultures through their wines and culinary delights and brings with her a truly global outlook on winemaking styles, quality and techniques. In terms of grape varieties, her preference has always been chardonnay, as she believes it is one of the most diverse and complex, and is influenced heavily by the terroir on which it is grown.

莉莲在酿酒历史深厚的维多利亚省路瑟格兰的葡萄园里长大，耳濡目染了葡萄酒的无穷魅力。2003年在阿德莱德大学葡萄酒酿造应用科学专业毕业后便在久负盛名的巴罗萨山谷工作。同时莉莲也周游全球闻名的葡萄酒产区，比如新西兰的马尔波罗。2008年莉莲前往中国宁夏葡萄酒产区担任酿酒师。仅仅一年之后，莉莲的2008年份典藏夏多内白葡萄酒就在香港国际葡萄酒展览上荣获“中国最佳葡萄酒”的称号。

与此同时，莉莲也是一个优秀的徒步旅行者与富有激情的独木舟健将。她喜欢从不同的葡萄酒和美食搭配的快乐中体验各种背后的文化，这有利于塑造和培养她的酿造风格酿酒技艺，以便带来更高品质的葡萄酒。莉莲对于夏多内情有独钟。她认为夏多内是风格最为多变，最为复杂的葡萄品种，受原产地风土的影响十分明显。
