ROBERT MANN

Estate Director and Senior Winemaker

Robert joined Cape Mentelle in December 2005 as Senior Winemaker.

Born and raised in Western Australia, Robert hails from a well known wine family. His grandfather, Jack Mann, made 51 consecutive vintages for Houghton in the Swan Valley.

Robert completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science, majoring in Oenology, at the University of Adelaide and since then has worked as Assistant Winemaker and Winemaker at various wineries in Australia, California and Europe.

Since his 2009 appointment as Cape Mentelle Estate Director, Robert has headed the

winery team. He is responsible for the ongoing development of Cape Mentelle’s wines,

ensuring they continue to be at the leading edge of quality and style. He works very closely

with Cape Mentelle Viticulturist, Ashley Wood, to ensure the continued excellence of

Cape Mentelle wines.

罗伯特于2005年加入曼达岬酒庄，担任高级酿酒师一职。

罗伯特出生于西澳大利亚的一个葡萄酒世家。他的祖父杰克 曼在西澳洲天鹅湖山谷产区的修顿酒庄见证了51个年份。

罗伯特拥有阿德莱德大学农业科学学士学位，主修葡萄酒酿造专业。他在澳大利亚，加里福尼亚，欧洲等葡萄酒产区都有助理酿酒师或者是主酿酒师的工作经验。

2009年罗伯特被任命为曼达岬酒庄的酒庄总监，带领整个酿酒师团队，主要负责将曼达岬的美酒进一步发扬光大，继续保证曼达岬在品质与风格上的领先地位。罗伯特与曼达岬的葡萄栽培学家阿什利伍德合作十分密切，从而保证了曼达岬美酒一如既往的优异表现。
