Quinta da Terrugem is located in the Borba wine region at Alentejo. It was acquired by Aliança in 1991. The estate covers an area of 100 hectares, of which 60 hectares are planted vineyards. The main grape varieties are Aragonez, Trincadeira, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Here is where the brands Quinta da Terrugem and Alabastro are produced.

Colour
Medium-full depth of colour showing a touch of brick-red on the rim.
Bouquet
Ripe sweet nose with blackcurrant, raisin and liquorice fruit tinged with complex rustic notes and a hint of oak.
Taste
Similar ripe fruit character on the palate with smoky edges, quite firm dry tannins supported by good concentration lead to structured yet elegant length.
Gastronomy
Ideal with pork stews and grilled meats.
