This wine exhibits rich blackberry/blackcurrant Cabernet fruit flavours as well as spicy plum characters which is attributed to 40% Shiraz in the blend. Those fruits flavours are complemented by hints of chocolate/coconut and leafy tobacco characters as well as the regional eucalyptus/mint on the palate. The toasty cedary/vanillin oak characters the wine and will continue to develop over the next 6-10 years of careful cellaring but is also drinkable now.
