Tasting note: A fresh red berry fruit and crushed herb nose precedes full-bodied flavors that are rich, serious and textured with a distinct mineral component on the palate staining and impressively long finish though there is a trace of dryness. My score offers the benefit of the doubt that this dry aspect will age out because otherwise, this is a classic Chapelle that will need ample time to arrive at its apogee.
