This robust, perfumed white is made with 100% sauvignon blanc harvested from the hillside plots owned by Mike Eaton, one of the very respectable grower in Marlborough. It is quite profound, with bordeaux blanc like nose of pineapple, passionfruit with loads of creamy vanilla and touch of cassis. Yet there are still undertones of minelarite and quite distinctive Marlborough's herbal, leafy nose. The acidity is crystallized clear,with lifted fresh tropical fruit and sweet herbs. Creamy texture yet well balanced with acidity and minelarite. Finish long. Enjoy now or it may last till 2018.
