St. Clement Winemaker, Danielle Cyrot, packs her personality into every bottle of wine she makes. One of the friendliest winemakers around, Danielle is full of energy with a voice that bubbles enthusiasm and an endless supply of excitement for her craft. Raised in southern California by her French dad and Irish mom, the Cyrot dinner table was always alive with talk of food and wine and travel, especially the family's annual summer trips to Paris. No doubt, too, another favorite topic was Danielle's great-grandfather, the last of a long line of ancestors who owned the Cyrot vineyard in Burgundy's prestigious C?′te de Beaune. Although her grandfather donated the land to Hospices de Beaune after World War I, there is still a Cyrot cuvee sold at the charity auction each year.
