*Outstanding* As Vosne-like as the Bas de Combes is, the Vigneux goes it one better as the expressive nose of red and blue pinot fruit is quite spicy with notes of anise, clove and soy as well as violets that complement the supple, round and quite accessible middle weight flavors that are delicious and culminate in a dusty and persistent finish where a trace of wood resurfaces.
